Do I need a membership to work out at Express Fitness?

Yes. Gym access is primarily through a key fob, which is issued to active members. We do offer day passes for non-members who want short-term access.

How do I access the gym?

Members access the gym only using their key fob. This ensures secure, controlled entry and a safe workout environment.

What is a day pass?

A day pass allows non-members access to the gym for one day only. You can purchase a day pass for $1,500 at our core locations and $2,500 at our platinum locations.

How do I sign up for a membership?

Memberships can be purchased on our website or in-club. Key fobs are issued in-club once registration is complete.

What types of memberships do you offer?

We offer a range of options, including monthly, 3-months, 6-months and annual memberships. Personalized Training and specialty programmes are also available. Offerings may vary by location.

Do you have any other rates if auto-pay is not ideal for me?

We offer a host of in-club only membership rates that you can sign up for at any of our front counters.

Platinum Membership Fees:

  • 4 weeks - $14,800
  • 8 weeks - $26,000
  • 12 weeks - $31,000
  • 24 weeks - $61,500
  • 52 weeks - $98,800

Core Membership Fees:

  • 4 weeks - $11,000
  • 8 weeks - $20,000
  • 12 weeks - $24,800
  • 24 weeks - $49,500
  • 52 weeks - $80,000

What is Personalized Training?

Personalized Training means your programme is tailored specifically to you, based on your goals, fitness level, and needs even if your trainer is working with multiple clients during the same time slot.

Can I freeze my membership?

Yes, membership freezes are available under the following conditions:

  • Members must have memberships lasting 8 weeks or longer.
  • A freeze can last for a minimum of 2 weeks and a maximum of 12 weeks.
  • Freezes are approved for medical or travel reasons only. Supporting documentation may be required.
  • Auto-pay (online payment) members are NOT eligible for membership freezes.

How do I cancel my membership?

Membership cancellations must be submitted via email to customercare@expressfitnessja.com at least 2 days before your next billing date.

Do you offer refunds?

Membership fees are non-refundable, in accordance with our policy. Any exceptions are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

What should I wear to the gym?

Proper gym attire is required at all times, including appropriate, non-revealing athletic clothing, closed-toe athletic shoes and a towel during workouts. Please refer to our policies at expressfitnessja.com for more information.

Can I bring a guest?

Guest access is available via day pass only which is a paid feature. Please check with your club’s front desk for details.

What is included in the Platinum membership versus other tiers?

  • Wider variety of equipment
  • Access to sauna
  • Access to specialized classes (HIIT, spin, yoga, Pilates)
  • Member perks & discounts through retail partner brands

How do I book a personal trainer and what are the rates for personalized training?

Book via the Express Fitness website (www.expressfitnessja.com), visit the Front Desk in-club or call customer care at 876-676-6933.

Our personalized training rates are as follows:

  • 1 session - $2,000
  • 4 sessions - $7,000
  • 8 sessions- $12,000
  • 16 sessions - $20,000

What is the Trainer Zone, and how does it work? What is the cost of access?

Trainer Zone is a dedicated area for external trainers to provide personal training sessions to their clients. You can book training sessions with an external trainer of Trainer Zone who will provide you with pricing information. You will need to be an active platinum member to access this service.

Are family, group or corporate memberships available?

We have corporate memberships available at this time. For further information on our corporate memberships, please send an email to sales@expressfitnessja.com.

Do I need to book ahead for classes and gym space?

We recommend booking all classes and high-demand zones in advance via our website,
expressfitnessja.com.



How does waitlisting work?

If a class is full, you will be notified so you can join the waitlist. If previously booked customers do not show up for class within the first ten (10) minutes, all waitlisted customers will be admitted on a first come, first served basis.

What cleanliness and safety protocols are in place at the gym?

Express Fitness is committed to a clean, safe and welcoming fitness environment for all our members. Our clubs provide regular equipment sanitization throughout the day and also have sanitizer stations thoughout.

Express Fitness emphasizes the importance of proper member etiquette in wiping down equipment after use. We also ask that any misuse of equipment and gym spaces is reported.


Does my Express Fitness membership include access to Smash Yard pickleball courts?

Express Fitness members receive preferred booking access, special discounts and priority to Smash Yard.

What are your operating hours?

Express Fitness is open 24 hours for members with key fob access. Staffed hours may vary by location as shown below.

Core Locations:

  • Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Platinum Locations:

Constant Spring

  • Monday to Saturday: 24/7
  • Sunday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM & 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Liguanea

  • Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM - 9:00 PM
  • Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Outside of staffed hours, the gym remains accessible 24/7 via key fob.
